Our pathologists are specialty trained in the areas of Genitourinary, Gastrointestinal, Cytopathology, Women’s Health, Dermatopathology and General Surgical Pathology. With a breadth of knowledge that comes from years of experience, our laboratory professionals are equipped with all the tools that allow them to deliver trustworthy results for even the most unique cases.

Michael Robles + Read Bio
Prior to founding Alliance Health Sciences, Dr. Robles had been both the Managing Director and Director of GI Diagnostics at one of the largest pathology labs in Texas. Dr. Robles was the first Robert E. Petras Fellow in gastrointestinal pathology. He graduated from the UMDNJ-SOM and entered residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of California, Irvine and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles. After residency, Dr. Robles completed a Surgical Pathology Fellowship at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Pathology and a Fellow of The College of American Pathology. Dr. Robles holds memberships in American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, and the Rodger C. Haggitt Gastrointestinal Pathology Society.
Kimberly Welter + Read Bio
Dr. Kimberly Welter, a diplomate of the American Board of Pathology, is board certified in anatomic pathology.  Dr. Welter graduated medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock, Arkansas.  She went on to complete a residency in anatomic pathology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, Texas, and became a Fellow of the Robert E. Petras fellowship program in gastrointestinal pathology.  Dr. Welter is a member of the College of American Pathologists and the American College of Gastroenterology.  She lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband and three daughters.
